Jonny Stacey, Teaching Professional To me, golf is the simplest, hardest, most frustratingly beautiful game, and I’m completely in love with it. I was introduced to golf at eight, and my parents’ yard quickly became a practice ground full of divots. Though my skills didn’t match my passion, I made the most of unlimited play as a junior golfer, often playing from sunrise until dark. Since joining Interbay in October 2020, I’ve earned my Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification, allowing me to assess how physical strengths and weaknesses affect golfers’ swings. My goal is to help students develop powerful, repeatable swings that support their goals. I also focus on the mental and emotional sides of golf, embracing Ben Hogan’s philosophy: 'The most important shot in golf is the next one.' |
