Scott Rosenthal, Teaching Professional
Scott Rosenthal has been teaching golf for more than thirty years. He played college golf at Florida State University and he is the former student of PGA tour coach, David Leadbetter. As Leadbetter’s student he improved his game and developed his own teaching method, “Whole and Total Golf”.
Scott has given over 25,000 individual lessons in his career and had the privilege of introducing golf to over 2,000 women in his "Never-ending Women's Clinic", famous in Charleston South Carolina. During his twenty years of golf instruction in Charleston, Scott was most proud of providing a fun teaching environment for so many junior golfers and introducing so many young people to the great game of golf for the very first time. He provided summer golf camps and after school golf programs, where over 5,000 kids participated, including the after-school program, “The Girls Club”, where young kids could learn the game in a fun way, without intimidation.
One of Scott’s favorite programs to teach was the “Competitive Kids Program”. There he taught competitive young players who had dreams of playing college golf. This individual lesson program produced numerous top-ranked players in the state of South Carolina, many of whom, achieved golf scholarships.
One of the honors Scott received during his coaching career in Charleston, was twice being named South Carolina golf coach of the year.
One of the young players who came out of Scott’s summer golf camps and into individual lessons with Scott, was PGA tour player, Andrew Novak. Novak played on the big stage of the PGA tour and is a winner on the Korn Ferry tour. Scott is the proud husband to his wife Stephanie and father to his seven-year-old son, Sam.
Scott wants to guide each player through their journey in the great game of golf, whether they be the ultimate beginner or a competitive golfer with hopes of playing on the tour.
