PGA Teaching Professional
Pete began his lengthy PGA teaching career in 1981 at Grays Harbor C.C. He taught lessons at Lake Wilderness G.C. from 1983-1987. His full time teaching career began in
1987 in Lynnwood. Pete averaged between 1300 to 1500 golf lessons annually from 1987-1999. In 1999, Pete's career was enhanced greatly when he relocated to Interbay. He had the good fortune in meeting Jimmy Ballard, one of America's top golf instructors. Pete has always had an insatiable curiosity regarding the proven fundamentals of the great golf swings; in 1999 he found his teaching mentor. Pete became a certified Jimmy Ballard
teaching professional and later spent a second week working with Jimmy in 2001.
Over the 25 years Pete has cultivated a very large student base. To this date he has given more than 25,000 golf lessons, a number that ranks among the top PGA Teaching Professionals. With 27 years of PGA teaching experience and training, Pete can help you
understand and apply the proven fundamentals that all top golfers adhere to. Pete has taught children and adults of all ages and abilities over the years. If you want to improve your skill consider doing what thousands of other golfers have already done... take a series of lessons with Pete this year! He especially enjoys working with a person with no or little experience whatsoever and helping that person begin their golfing career on the course.
To this day Pete competes successfully in PNWPGA tournaments. In 2006 and in 2007, he was selected as one of twelve playing professionals to represent Washington vs. Oregon in the Hagen Cup.
