A Seattle native, Casey has been playing golf for over 30 years. Since his first swing before age 10, he has been hooked on the game. Casey has worked at the Seattle Golf Club as a caddie and on the greens crew and at Sand Point G & CC on the greens crew. In 2005, Casey has decided to bring his passion and knowledge of golf to Interbay as an instructor. His handicap is around 1.
Casey’s emphasizes a good set-up, the things you do before hitting the ball: grip, posture, balance, club selection, ball position and alignment. He tries to get people to swing easy and get more accuracy and distance through sound fundamentals. His philosophy is to keep it simple and work within the framework of each individuals swing.
Casey enjoys working with all skill levels from beginners to low handicappers. He believes even one lesson will build a solid foundation for your game. He tries to keep it uncomplicated. To him, the bottom line is to have more fun on the golf course through the knowledge of the mechanics of a sound golf swing. As of 2007 Casey became the Head Golf Coach for Ballard High School Men’s Golf team.
In his free time, Casey plays golf, skis, does mortgage consulting, and is currently working towards his PGA card.
