We are approaching my favorite time of the year for golf. West Seattle Golf Course is so beautiful in the fall. With the leaves changing colors, the vibrant white sand and the incredible views of Seattle’s skyline all making West Seattle one of the most scenic courses you will find.

If you are having difficulty getting a tee time, I can almost guarantee a starting time before 7AM. Remember, at this time, you can expect a fast round. In addition, we have a great promotion for you early birds. Check out our September specials.

$10,000 HOLE IN ONE SHOOTOUT – PGC Appreciation Day

We would like to thank the more than 100 participants who took their shot at a $10,000 cash prize on Friday August 21st. Unfortunately we did not get a hole-in-one but we had several great shots. During the shootout, PGC members were greeted with a special prize on each of the four par 3 holes culminating with the Grand Prize of $10,000 for anyone getting a hole-in-one on #11. In addition to the hole-in-one prizes, we also had some great closest-to-the-pin prizes on each of the par threes. We would like to congratulate the following winners of the KP contest.

Hole #3 – John. Fowler 11’ 11” – Two Rounds of Golf at West Seattle GC
Hole #6 – Akash Sehgal 2’ 9” – Two Dozen Titleist NXT Extreme Golf Balls
Hole #11 – Pat Distefano 6’ 8” – Three Rounds (One Round at each of Jackson, Jefferson Park & Interbay)
Hole #13 – Parker Faith 9’ 2” – New Corona Golf Bag and Budweiser Umbrella
Fall Aerification Schedule

We have scheduled our fall aerification and top dressing of the greens for Tuesday September 29th. We expect the greens to be a little bumpy and sandy for about 10-days following the work. This procedure is vital to insure our greens stay healthy throughout the winter. The fall application is especially important as we skipped the summer aerification as to not interrupt in-season play. Thank you for your patience while we give the greens some special attention and much needed rest.
