On The Golf Course

The golf course is in absolutely wonderful condition. Every day I have golfers tell me that they have never seen the course in as good of shape as it is right now. The greens are benefiting from the added attention from our grounds crew. They have lowered the mower blades and they are running a smooth 9’ on the stimp-meter. They also began a bi-weekly topdressing and verti-cutting program in May that I am sure you will agree has put the greens in “their best condition ever”.

West Seattle was the beneficiary of a ‘new sapling tree grant’ by the city of Seattle. We have been given over 500 tree saplings in an effort to protect the green space in Seattle for all of its residence. Wow, what a different look! Some have been planted with golfer safety in mind and others are planted purely for strategic value. I hope you enjoy watching these new saplings grow and become a part of our already beautiful course.

June - Women in Golf Month at West Seattle Golf Course

In an effort to celebrate ‘Women in Golf’ month we have designed a special package for female players to take advantage of during any Monday or Tuesday in June. We would like to invite you out to play West Seattle and for $45 you will receive a Green Fee, Power Cart, Hot Dog or ½ Deli Sandwich and a free Precept Ladies Fashion Glove. That is a value of $61 so why not come out and see us at West Seattle GC during ‘Women in Golf’ Month.

Attention Everett, Bellevue, Spanaway and Lake Wilderness customers...We want you! Remember, you now can receive your PGC discounts at the Seattle courses as well as your home club. Come and see us soon! I promise you will be impressed with West Seattle GC.
