SEATTLE AMATEUR & WEST SEATTLE AMATEUR

Our two biggest events of the year are being held in the month of July.  The Seattle Amateur which is one of the most important and prestigious amateur tournaments in the northwest will be held at the Seattle courses July 2nd-4th.  Admission is free so we would like to invite everyone out to watch these elite players compete for the title of 'Seattle Amateur Champion'. Our 2007 champion, Richard Lee, just won the Washington State Amateur last week so he is in prime position to defend his title.  Please visit the tournament website for all the tee times, daily results, stories and pictures.  There are 162 players with a maximum handicap of 3.9 teeing it up on July 2nd and 3rd at Jackson Park and West Seattle Golf Courses.  The low 54 players will earn the right to compete for the title of Seattle Amateur Champion at Jefferson Park Golf Course on July 4th.

The West Seattle Amateur is a 36 hole championship being held on July 19th and 20th.  Applications are still being accepted for this great event through Tuesday July 15th.
