Hello:

My name is Paul Lavin and I am the new General Manager at Jefferson Park. I just want to say how excited I am to be apart of the family at Jefferson Park. 

I am coming from Useless Bay Country Club on Whidbey Island where I spent the last four years working as a golf professional.

As a 14 year old golfer I started mowing the greens at a small 9 hole course in Monroe, WA and have been working on a course ever year since. In past 24 years I have been a caddie, range attendant, golf pro, and maintenance worker so I can appreciate what it takes to run a golf course. 

It’s going to be exciting living in the big city of Seattle full time. I have never lived in a city before so if you have any advice I could use it. 

I would like very much to hear from as many people about any concerns that you may have. I encourage everyone to talk with me or any staff members.  My goal is to make Jefferson Park a great place to spend the day with family and friends. Look forward to serving everyone at Jefferson Park.

We also will be offering a Teen Golf Academy that will be held on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 PM beginning on July1st. These 3 day sessions will cost $79.00 and these are appropriate for 12 to 17 year old golfers.  Each 3 day academy includes video swing instruction and prints for home viewing, range work outs, short game clinics, and course etiquette.
