West Seattle Golf Course Hole #9
564 Yards Par 5 - The longest of the par 5's at West Seattle GC has a blind tee shot with OB down the entire length of the left side. The second shot is quite challenging in that you are trying to hit a fairway wood off of a downhill / side hill lie to a narrow neck of the fairway near the 100 yard disk. You must stay away from the trees on the right side with your lay-up or you will be forced to pitch out of 'Bogey Garden' back to the fairway. A good line for your second shot is the Big Leaf Maple on the left side of the fairway. The left side of the green is guarded by tandem 'pot' style bunkers.
